Description
This intermediate piano solo is written in the Baroque style of J.S. Bach, with both hands working melodically in a continuous flow of semi-quavers. Much like the ‘Allemande’ from the Baroque Suite, this piece is played moderately fast in simple quadruple time, has a short anacrusis, and has a feeling of continuous movement. Beginning in C major, the piece modulates to the dominant G major in bars 7 – 8, as is typical of this style. Maintain an even balance between the hands, and follow the suggested fingering carefully.
