Description

This elementary piano solo needs good control of the repeating and syncopated LH rumba riff (E minor/A minor) – very rhythmical but not too forceful. The singing RH melody must not be overpowered by the LH. Be ready for the change in the chordal component of the LH riff  at bar 18 (B7 is introduced) – here the brief modulation of key lifts and shifts the musical feel from E natural minor into E harmonic minor for just one bar. Play the RH chords in the coda (bars 23 – 25) with plenty of rhythmical force. The dance throughout needs lots of energy and excitment.
